Events
Below is a table of upcoming events here at OCAK. Visitors are always welcome. The more the merrier. For members, it is highly recommended and encouraged to attend as many events, seminars and guest instructed classes as possible to further your art as well as the dojo's. For members testing 5th kyu through the Dan ranks it is required that at least two approved seminars be attended every year.

Seminar: |
This special seminar taught by all OCAK instructors both past and present is a real treat for any member. Experience the various styles and takes on Aikido which are and have always been the heritage of our dojo. Each instructor will teach a portion of this seminar ensuring a variety of techniques and approaches to aikido. There will be something for everyone. It is not to be missed! |

Event: Childrens' Dojo Slumber Party |
This new event to OCAK is sure to be a night of fun and games for all OCAK junior members. The night will kick off following the Instructors' seminar and will begin with a pizza party, followed by games and movies (with popcorn of course) and will carry on till the next morning with breakfast and more fun. All junior members are encouraged to join in the fun |

Seminar: Muryasz Summer Workout |
One of our few annual seminars, the Muryasz Summer Workout hosted at OCAK never disappoints. Sensei Walter Muryasz, for those of you who have not had the pleasure of training with, is a hidden treasure in the Southern California aikido scene and has an amazing art that never ceases to amaze. All OCAK members are encouraged to attend as it will count towards your seminar testing requirement. |

Event: Annual Dojo Summer Picnic |
One of our most fun annual events, the Summer picnic never lets down. Great food, Great fun, and Great people. The picnic will kick off with regularly scheduled classes being held at the beach followed by a potluck BBQ lunch and tons of beach fun after. All members, friends and family are invited to attend! |
